AGENDA
Meet us on our different events

Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity ensures that data is managed in optimal and secure conditions in terms of acquisition, transport, processing, storage, and provisioning. All of these stages offer potentially as many opportunities for cybercriminals. Data protection has become one of the major challenges of our time and the stakes are political, economic and military as well as criminal to various extent. How to protect data while guaranteeing access to authorized persons? How to create a trusted digital society while protecting individual liberties?

Embedded systems

Artificial intelligence, image processing, cyber defense, connected objects, exploration robotics… EPITA engineers are capable of meeting today’s challenges and anticipating the next ones. They drive change and encourage all sectors to reinvent themselves, turning concepts long reserved for the realm of science fiction into reality.

Internet Of Things

Connected objects or Internet of Things (IoT) are everywhere. Whether they are simple “fun gadgets”, medical devices or industrial systems, etc., they are complex. Their common point is to be connected to open networks such as the Cloud / Internet, posing therefore complicated development, communication and security issues.

Knowledge based AI

Knowledge-based systems (KBS) have dominated research and applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence for years. They use a completely different approach to AI than statistical AI by using explicit knowledge instead of neural networks and Machine Learning. The statistical AI seeks to reason while KBS reproduce from known data. If statistical AI currently produces remarkable results, how can we develop KBS today?

AI, Machine learning & Big Data

Artificial intelligence applications have become omnipresent in companies and accompany us in our daily lives. The scope of their actions will make them a tool of economic power and influence in geopolitics in the future. Machine Learning is the set of algorithms that allow a system to “learn” from examples and data. The system will make a prediction from the data provided to it during its learning phase.

Virtual and augmented reality

By liberating the user experience from spatial, temporal and security constraints, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality bring a new way of representing objects in a real or non-real space.

Quantum computing

Whereas current computers use bits (0 or 1), quantum computers use qubits which, according to the laws of quantum mechanics, can represent a combination of 0 and 1 at the same time, thanks to the principle of superposition.

Blockchain & Fintech

A revolution comparable to the advent of the Internet that will change the economy as we know it provided that we have engineers capable of implementing it. Graduates from the EPITA school of Computer Intelligence, trained in architecture and technical infrastructures, as well as in the software of large information systems, are ready to respond.
