One Step Away from Getting an Internship
Jointly organised by the Department of International Programs and Department of Corporate Relations, the career event “Speed Dating” was held on Paris campus on 20th June 2019, bringing together 18 companies and providing more than 100 internship opportunities to EPITA students of the Master of Science in Computer Science (MSc CS) program.
The “Speed Dating” is an excellent opportunity for students to meet employers and have a first experience in attending interviews. Students find the event genuinely useful in helping them to find an internship. “I know more about the French business market and the different skills they need,” said Mr Samer Elhoujeiri, a student of MSc CS – Information Systems Management program.
Profile of EPITA students highly sought after
Well equipped with technological expertise and business knowledge, EPITA students are highly valued by participant employers. This event has connected our students with companies looking to hire talents with computing competence, information technology expertise, and international profile. The internship opportunities are composed of data scientists, IS consultant, cyber security experts, and developers, which correspond to precisely EPITA students’ profile.
Participants include Alsid, Armis, Avanade, Capgemini, Doctolib, DotScreen, DXC Technology, Engie, Hager group, Limber, Qarnot, Renault, S2M Group, Société Générale, SoftTools, Telecom Paris Tech, Ubisoft and Yellow Relay.
Boosting EPITA students’ career
Dedicated to offering quality career services to our students, the Department of International Programs works with different units to organize a variety of career events throughout the year. These include career fair, conferences week and speed dating. Upon graduation, about 90% of EPITA graduates are employed by various sectors of IT in France and Europe.
