International: EPITA receives ‘Choose France’ certification
Officially introduced this year by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the ‘Choose France’ certification (“Bienvenue en France” Label) was awarded to EPITA on Monday, July 8 by Campus France. Presented by minister Frédérique Vidal during the ‘Rencontres Campus France de la Recherche et de l’Innovation’ (research and innovation meetings) event, held on July 8-10 at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie (Paris), this certification highlights the quality welcome that EPITA has extended to international students for several years.

Valid for four years, the “Choose France” certification is approved by an independent commission and awarded based on five criteria: quality of and access to information, quality of and access to reception facilities, quality of and access to educational programs and support, quality of campus life and housing, and the quality of post-graduate support and services.
For EPITA, this certification reflects the school’s willingness to improve, each year, the integration process of foreign students who come from around the world to benefit from the school’s extensive expertise in computer engineering, as part of an academic semester abroad or international degree programs.
To promote integration in France, international students at EPITA take French classes at the French Language Center (FLE) on the school’s campus. Since 2015, this center has held FLE quality certification, boasting 3 stars for the 5 criteria required. Certification is awarded by the state for meeting specific quality criteria: teaching and training courses, qualified and competent teaching staff, hosting and support services for international students, premises and learning environment as well as school management.
