The ideal opportunity for 4th and 5th year students from EPITA to meet a wide range of professionals on their campus, FEMII (forum for companies in the engineering and IT sectors) is one of the leading events for these future engineers who are looking for an internship or their first job after graduation.
An extensive selection of activities
Service providers (IT consultants), software publishers, consulting firms, large consumers or major players from a variety of sectors (banking, distribution, hotel, aeronautics…) have chosen to come to EPITA to recruit the top individuals in the field to assist them with their digital transformation projects: the last edition of FEMII brought no fewer than 73 exhibitors to the Paris Kremlin-Bicêtre Campus in October 2017 with nearly 1,000 internship opportunities!
Open to the world, FEMII has also stood out this year by welcoming several foreign-based companies… and not just any companies! In addition to Deloitte Luxembourg and KPMG Luxembourg, the British divisions of Facebook, Bloomberg and Expedia were particularly popular with the attending students, as well as Nvidia, the famous Californian company that participated last year and took on six EPITA students from the class of 2016 for their end of the year internship.
The ever-present Alumni
Although it is common to meet one or more Alumni at exhibitors’ stands who come to speak with the graduating classes, FEMII also regularly invites companies founded and managed by engineering graduates from EPITA. This year, the school was happy to welcome Commanders Act, a digital marketing data firm created by François Langrand (EPITA class of 2003), Jump Informatique, a software package publishing company specialized in market finance founded by Emmanuel Fougeras (class of 2002), and Realytics, a start-up specialized in analyzing the on-line impact of TV commercials co-founded by Guillaume Belmas (class of 2004), Sébastien Monteil (class of 2005) and Vincent Nguyen-Huu (class of 2010).
