New Master’s Specialization at EPITA: Data Science & Analytics (DSA) – Master of Computer Science in Paris

EPITA is proud to offer a new master’s specialization in computer science starting Fall 2017.

The dean of the international programs Rabih HADDAD today announced it will offer new specialization in the domain of information technology:

MSc-CGE in Data Science & Analytics.

The program provides a good foundation in machine learning and programming along with practical experience. The aim of this specialization is to combine computer and statistical sciences to develop top edge tools to efficiently deal with data processing (Big DATA) and to learn how to develop methods, algorithms and software that can extract value out of them. It provides also a combination of technical classes in data mining and distributed systems joined with essentials in business to prepare profiles who are highly valued by the professional market.

The DSA program is an opportunity for IT engineers and specialists to differentiate themselves and advance their knowledge in a field that will be paramount to the future of business.

This program will be opened for all international candidates holding a 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields. Candidates must also have strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.

Like the 3 previous specializations, this program will include 3 semesters: fundamental, specialization and internship over a period of 18 months. The semesters are reinforced to include subjects that are necessary to the implementation of this new specialization.
