New international students at EPITA
At the start of the academic year 2014-15, EPITA is going to host more than 70 international students for the first semester (September to January)! Since years, the international department of EPITA developed more and more and worked on her international activities.
It has paid off as we can see the graduate school of computer science welcomes about thirty international exchange students from South Korea, China, Spain, Mexico, Turkey & Sweden. This group of exchange students will stay at EPITA for a semester, which means a duration of 6 months. During these 6 months, they will follow subjects that they need to validate it, to continue their studies or finding an internship in them countries.
There is also about thirty five international students who will attend the International master program, this degree attracts students from the entire world as India, Nigeria, Russia, Finland, United States & Argentina. The international master is a degree of a period of 18 months, one year of course and 6 months of internship.
For the first time, the institution has internationalized the ‘cycle préparatoire’ or preparatory cycle as an international bachelor degree; this bilingual bachelor program will be taught in English at Epita Villejuif campus and will be the same as the French degree. Five international students from India, Bolivia and Bangladesh have been enrolled for the international bachelors and we will welcome them shortly.
It’s always a real pleasure to welcome and guide a mixed population of new students; it not only helps the French students to improve, but also the international students as well as us the staffs!
