Back to the RIA Conference

On 18 January, during the conference of RIA (Rich Internet Applications), the students of MTI (Multimedia and Information Technology) of EPITA presented their graduation projects (PFEE). These professional projects, related to the world of multimedia, have the virtue of exposing students to the real constraints of the workRIA 2.jpgplace. The development of mobile applications and of rich interfaces (RIAs) showed a significant share of work for this year’s cohort.

For Cyril Reinhard, in-charge of MTI, "the projects presented at this session were rich and varied, as they were carried out in collaboration with a broad spectrum of different types of companies: big companies like SAP/BO, Omniture, BrainSonic, Alti and other important institutions, such as the Directorate General for State Modernisation (DGME), the Internet unit of the Elysee, the Government Information Service (GIS ) and the Broca Hospital, as well as start-ups or small businesses as Chapatiz, HotSpotYou, Askhall … "
 
From a game development project aimed at people with Alzheimer’s disease to that of streaming video online and on mobiles through the development of a mobile application, to that of incorporating social networking and surveys- multiple projects were revealed and offered solutions that can truly simplify usage.
