EPITA’s robotic and embedded systems association Evolutek rewarded

The EPITA’s student association “Evolutek” reached 5th place in the ‘Coupe de France de Robotique’ held from May 12 to 15, national student championship of Robotics!

The ‘Coupe de France de Robotique’ was held at “La Ferté Bernard” (Sarthe) and brought together teams from all over France, made up mostly of college students or recent graduates. In the end, 150 teams and over 2000 people worked for seven months to achieve an autonomous robot which meets the specifications set by the regulation.

The ‘Coupe’ began with a series of five qualifying matches. After those games, 16 teams with the best score qualified for the final rounds.

For its tenth participation, Evolutek imposed itself on the front of the stage. Ranked third after the qualifying matches, and then present till the quarter-finals, the association Evolutek successfully obtained 5th place in the national ranking.

The team also organized, as every year, a huge barbecue, offered to all 2000 attendees. This event awaited by all was a great moment of relaxation and conviviality shared by the teams.
